The Raigad Gender-Inclusive, Community-Led District Climate Action Planning Project is a groundbreaking three-year field-based research initiative. The project is lead by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), with foundational backing from the University of Toronto India Foundation (UTIF), and with Asar, Waatavaran, PDAG, and Baimanus Media as Knowledge Partners .

This initiative, led by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), is under the guidance of Prof. Manjula Bharathy with dedicated support of TISS faculty members—Dr. Suhas Bhasme, Prof. Sampati Guha, and Dr. Sachin Tiwale.

The collective collaborates with the State Climate Action Cell (SCAC), Maharashtra.

The project is supported by the University of Toronto India Foundation (UTIF), with Gauravi Lobo, Shruta Rawat, and their team bringing in international solidarity and strength to the effort.
